The Eublemma parva also called Small Marbled is a moth of the Erebidae family, subfamily Eublemminae, with a wingspan of 14-18 mm.
Visible in almost all of Europe, it is absent from Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus. In Italy it is also present in the islands. *
It is also present in North Africa **, Central Asia, Turkey, Caucasus, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and north-western India.

The front wings of the Eublemma parva are pale ocher with yellow veins, with a median band, preceded by a shade of brown, pale reddish and edged with white. A brown tint is visible near the apex. A black dot is present in the discoidal cell. The submarginal line is pale and lightly marked and contains a black dot near the apex. The hind wings are brownish gray, paler towards the base.

Adults are in flight from March to November depending on the latitude and frequent semi arid areas of all kinds.
The larva is light brown with reddish hues and longitudinal white lines both lateral and dorsal, the hairs are sparse, the head and prothoracic shield are brown in color. It is visible from July to September.

The larvae feed on common Asteraceae such as Pulicaria dysenterica, Inula, Centaurea, Helichrysum and Gnaphalium species. *
