Depressariidae

The Depressariidae are a family of moths with approximately 2,300 described species worldwide*.
In Europe they are divided into six subfamilies Depressariinae, Hypercalliinae, Stenomatinae, Ethmiinae, Peleopodinae and Oditinae. For a long time they have been considered a subfamily of the Elachistiidae and only recently has it been reconsidered as a separate family.
